We hiked it and liked it…

Our latest hike was at Aliso & Woods Canyons Wilderness Park at 28373 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Niguel.

There is a parking lot at the trail head for $3 or if you get there early enough there is parking along the street for free.

The hike we did was flat and easy (which was perfect for us considering we were still recovering from the Smoothie Tuesday trail run). Apparently there are miles of trail to explore. You can print out a map, which I did but the words were too small to read (could be my old eyes). The trail was perfect for easy level mountain biking. I may go back and try it out. A lot of the online comments about the trail said to be careful of the mountain bikers because there are so many. I didn’t feel like I was going to get run over, they all seemed pretty courteous.

We didn’t run into any snakes (whew) but did see plenty of rabbits. Didn’t get any pictures of them πŸ™

I did get a couple pics of the caves we saw. It is said that robbers would hide their stolen goods in these caves back in the day.
