Here’s your Monday Music update!
Sometimes it’s hard to get out the door on Monday mornings, but having a great playlist can make it a lot easier.
Check back every Monday to see what the song of the week is. Some people choose to run without music but that doesn’t mean you can’t get pumped up with a few good songs before you head out the door! For me, music makes everything better! Housework, cooking, exercise (obviously) and relaxing (maybe I’ll start a new list: Music to Wind Down To. What do you think??).
There are websites you can go to, to upload complete run lists. I have looked into this before but find it’s hard to find a list with all songs that I like. You can even find lists with songs that have a certain beat per minute which helps you keep pace. Most of these songs are techno music, which I’m not too fond of. They do have a steady beat if that is what you are looking for. You can find these lists on iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, Fitness Magazine and Runner’s World Magazine, to name a few.
I would rather comprise my own list. I post my favorite running songs for you in hopes that you will like them too. I am continually looking for new music. If I hear a song on the radio that I think will be good to run to, I Shazam it, which adds it to my tags, then I upload it to my playlist later. That way I don’t forget, because I tend to forget…
