This weeks song was inspired by the challenging trail run I did last week.
Runners as a whole are disciplined, determined, self motivated and strong. We compete, mostly with ourselves, to run further, faster, better. We run long runs, hilly runs, in the cold, in the heat, in the wee hours of the morning or after long hours at work. We run to clear our heads and de-stress, to be healthy and get strong.
Having said that, it is still sometimes difficult to find the strength and motivation to get out the door to run that long run in the heat. A new song on your playlist can help. Every little bit helps.
